Big Bud

This strain is the winner of the cannabis Cup of the year 1989. Big Bud is another world wide classic and it is one of the most popular cannabis strains. It has long been famous as a cannabis strain and less well-known is the fact that her superior Indica pedigree has been carefully refined and steadily refined over many years.  It's early development occurred in the USA before the strain was brought to the Netherlands in the eighties in search of political asylum. When the war on drugs intensified, pioneering US breeders feared the loss of irreplaceable cannabis strains which stood for years and years of hard work, studies and especially devotion. This breed takes up to eight to nine weeks to be ready for harvesting. As you are growing them, you will be able to see the stems buckle under the weight of the buds. Getting them some support will be the right thing to do. A simple bamboo-stick with some metal wiring will do. The weight might be so excessive that the branches will touch the ground, so please, take care.  

It produces massive buds, which look grand, with very few leaves. It will get up to 55 centimeters indoors. The buds will have a deep green color and if left unattended, it will be able to triple in size at the change of a light cycle. They can be kept under 30 centimeters if flowered as seedlings, while huge plants can also be made, by giving them a longer vegetation time. So the growth will be very strong and the height gain will be easy to control. The flowers are huge and crispy and sparkling, and when you touch them, they feel hard and solid.  

Of course, the central feature of this strain is the huge and enormous amounts  of production being gained from it. it is said to be very very potent. The yields are truly staggering and legendary and are well known to be producing excellent growth. it will have a better yield than any other plant in the same amount of space.
